FIX™ and AMINOFIX™ Surgical Cements




The range of surgical cements are available in 2 categories:

- cements without antibiotics: FIX™ range ;

- cements with antibiotics: AMINOFIX™ range.

These are acrylic cements formed from a liquid component (monomer) and a powder component (polymer).

They are radiopaque (barium sulphate).

The antibiotic used in the AMINOFIX™ range is gentamicin sulphate (1g/dose).

Standard viscosity for a conventional cementation: FIX 1

Low viscosity for a retrograde cementation: FIX 3
