Acetabular cup CARGOS™
The titanium alloy CARGOS™ HAP Press Fit cup is a cementless acetabular replacement solution.
To accelerate bone adhesion, a bioactive titanium-hydroxyapatite coating is applied using a vacuum plasma spray technique with an excellent industrial control.

The cup has been designed to be used interchangeably (intraoperative decision) with: - a Biolox Delta ceramic insert made of high purity alumina secured by a conical assembly; - an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene insert, impacted by an indented crown. |

Its stability in rotation and tilting is ensured through equatorial fins and tropical spikes (HAP version) or additional screwing (HAP screw version). |

The cup assembly with the ceramic insert has been designed for use with a 36 mm diameter head from a size 50 to optimise joint stability. |
