Acetabular cup INTEGRA™

The titanium alloy INTEGRA™ revision cup with fixation peg is a cementless acetabular reconstruction solution allowing an optimised bone fixation despite severe bone loss.

A bioactive titanium-hydroxyapatite bilayer coating is applied using a vacuum plasma spray technique with an excellent industrial control.

For double mobility, the cup is combined with a polished stainless steel insert in which an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene liner revolves.

Operating techniques

Capture1.JPG

A peg with a star section, oriented at 55° relative to horizontal, in the direction of the iliac isthmus stabilises the cup in extreme cases of acetabular bone loss.

The dual mobility ensures, for this peg-positioned implant, respect of the joint biomechanics. It combines longevity (reduced wear due to the small diameter head) and stability of the joint (liner large diameter insert).

Using 9.5 mm diameter screws provides additional stabilisation, if required, in the available spongy bone.
